I don’t get any crops on my neighbor’s farm

Harvesting on neighbor’s farms
If you’re harvesting crops on your neighbors’ farms, you will sometimes see an animation to indicate you obtained one of those crops for yourself. Don’t worry, harvesting those crops will not make them disappear from your neighbors’ plots.

Not getting any crops
If you notice that you’re harvesting crops, but you’re not getting any of them, it can mean that you’ve already obtained the maximum number of crops you can get from your neighbors’ farms on that day. However, if you haven’t received any crops from your neighbor’s farm on that day, please try to delete the game and then reinstall it from your app store.

How to like a neighbor’s farm

When you visit a neighbor’s farm, there is a smiley face at the top of the screen. Tap on it to like your neighbor’s farm.

Who liked my farm?

You can find out how many players have liked your farm by tapping your avatar in the top left corner. However, you can’t see who they are.

Send gifts to neighbors

There are 2 ways to send a gift to a neighbor.

1) From the inbox

Go into your inbox- the yellow envelope on the top right of your screen.

Tap on the “Gifts” tab and then move down to the “Neighbors’ Wishes” section. Tap on ‘Send’ to give someone the gift or ‘X’ to ignore the request.

After you have cleared all your neighbor’s gifts and requests, you can send out free gifts.

2) From the MENU

Tap the menu button, then the Free Gifts icon.

Request gifts

There are 2 ways you can ask for gifts.

1) Free gift

To ask for a free gift from your neighbor, tap the menu button, then the “Free Gifts” icon.

You can ask for an item from a neighbor by tapping on the “Ask” button. More items will be added here when you reach higher levels.

When you have tapped on the “Ask” button, the neighbor panel, as shown below, will display. Tap on the green ‘+’ sign to move the player over to the selected list. Players who appear in the selected list will be sent the item request when you tap the green “Ask” button. You can use the search bar at the top to find a particular neighbor or use the ‘select all’ button to send the item request to all your neighbors. Tap the green “Ask” button to send the gift request to your neighbors.

After you have tapped on that button, a ‘sent successfully’ message will appear at the top of the panel.

Note: You can only request gifts once every 24 hours to each individual neighbor. The 24 hour limit starts from the moment a gift request is sent to a neighbor.

2) Asking for items to complete a building or machine

For some buildings and machines, you’ll need to collect parts from your neighbors. You can also buy them with RC if you prefer. To request the items, tap on the incomplete machine to open the construction panel. An example is shown below.

If you don’t want to use RC to purchase the parts required, select the “Ask” button and this will display the neighbor panel. Follow the instructions described above to select players and request gifts from them.

Note: You can only send or request gifts once every 24 hours from each individual neighbor. The 24 hour countdown starts from the moment a gift is sent to or requested from a player.

You can send an item to a neighbor by selecting the “Send” button. More items will be added here when you reach higher levels.

When you have tapped on the “Send” button, the neighbor panel, as shown below, will be displayed. Tap on the green ‘+’ icon to move the player over to the selected list. Players who appear in the selected list will be sent the item selected when you tap the green “Send” button. You can use the search bar at the top to find a particular neighbor or use the “Select all” button to send the selected item to all your neighbors. Tap the green “Send” button to send the gift your neighbors.

After you have tapped on this button, a ‘sent successfully’ message will appear at the top of the panel.

Accepting and using gifts

Accept gifts
To use a gift, the first thing you’ll need to do is to retrieve the gift from the inbox. The inbox is the yellow envelope located in the top right of your screen.

Tap on the envelope and there you can accept gifts by tapping on the green accept button. When you are accepting gifts, you can also send back coins to thank the player who’s sent you the gift. Both cases are shown in the picture below.

Use gifts
Once you have accepted items, they will appear in your gift box. To access your gift box, tap on the present box at the bottom right of the screen.

In the gift box, some items will have the “Use” option under them. This means you can use them to help complete a building or machine.

When you tap on “Use” and you have an incomplete building or machine on your farm, a picture of the incomplete buildings or machines will be displayed. Tap on the picture to add the item. If you don’t have a building or machine that needs the part, you will be prompted that you’ll need to start the construction on the building or machine first.

Trading Items

If you receive items from your neighbors that you no longer need, the option to trade the item for coins will appear below the picture of the item.

When you tap on the trade button you can select the quantity to trade by using the slider. If you only have 1 of an item in the inbox, tapping trade will immediately trade the item. Tap the green “Trade” button to confirm the trade or the X to cancel and go back to your gift box.

Send Free Gift Coins

Free gift coins
You can only send free gift coins to your neighbors after they have fulfilled one of your gift requests. There is no other way to send out free gift coins. There will always be 5 gift coins you send out. Gift coins are not deducted from your own account and are a way to thank your neighbor for sending you a requested gift.

Batch Visit Neighbor

Visit all of your neighbors’ farms for one click!

You can use your Clean Ticket to batch visit neighbors.

Tap the brush icon to enter the batch visit neighbor panel.

Each neighbor visit costs 1 ticket to visit, start using them to visit your neighbors and save your time!

Where can I get the clean tickets?

You can get clean tickets from the country club package from the calendar icon and from digging the pet chests.

What does it do to the neighbor’s farm?

1. You can collect the cleanable decoration bag and the cooking stand bag if they are available in your neighbor’s farm. You can set the cleanable bag priority order from the Clean Order button on the top of the neighbor panel.

2. You can collect neighbor reward (XP and coins) automatically

3. You can help neighbor 5 times such as harvest, fertilize etc automatically

Is it still taking too long? Don’t worry, if you tap the ‘X’ button to close it while the pet is running to visit your neighbors, you can continue farming and your batch neighbor visits will happen in the background! You will receive a notification when it has been completed.

Acquaintances

Don’t have enough active neighbors? Don’t worry! From now on you will get a certain amount of active players on your neighbor list. These neighbors will have a blue background and will be located at the bottom of the neighbor list. The number of Acquaintances will depend on the amount of neighbors you have in your game, so therefore it will differ from player to player.

Do Acquaintances work the same as normal neighbors?

Yes, Acquaintances will work the same way as normal neighbors, however, they will disappear the next day. If you want them to be your permanent neighbor you can tap on their Avatar and click on ‘Add’ to send a neighbor request.

How to check Neighbors’ Information?

Want to know when your neighbors’ farm birthdays are? Or some other general information? No problem!

When you visit a neighbor’s farm, you can see a question mark on the left side of the farm name panel. Click on it and you’ll see the neighbor’s info like on the screenshot below:

How to hide your farm’s information?

To hide your farm’s information please do the following:

1. Tap on blue cog icon to open Settings
2. Go to tab Switch
3. Turn off function ‘Show my farm info to neighbors’

Buddy

A Buddy belongs to a group of your close friends. Buddies can share special gifts and help each other to get special rewards.

How to get a Buddy

You can choose a Buddy from your list of Neighbors. Once you send a Buddy request, you will need to wait until they accept it and confirm it. You can have a limited amount of Buddies.

Buddy Grade & Benefits

Once you are a Buddy with your neighbor, you’ll start on Buddy Grade 0. To increase your grade, you can go to your Buddy’s farm and help them out, such as cleaning their decorations, harvesting, fertilizing crops, and eating at the Cooking Stand. Each Buddy Grade will unlock more benefits.

When visiting a Buddy’s farm, you can claim a Buddy Gift. The higher the Buddy Grade is, the better rewards you can get!

Buddy Tree

Once you reach Buddy Grade 1, you will be able to unlock the Red Mystron tab on the Mystery Store. From here, you will be able to purchase items such as Buddy Tree.

After purchasing the Buddy Tree, you will need to build it by tapping on it. After that, you will need Buddy Hearts to make the tree grow. You’ll receive Buddy Hearts when Buddies care for your Buddy Tree. After it’s grown, the Buddy Tree will give a reward to both you and your Buddies. Then it will disappear afterwards.

How can I get neighbors?

There are four ways to add a neighbor using the in game neighbor panel.

1. Farm ID
   Using a player’s Farm ID. Ask your friends for their farm IDs to add them or publish your Farm ID in the forum or Facebook fan page.
2. Facebook
   Connect to Facebook to see your Facebook friends who are also playing Family Farm Seaside.
3. Email
   Send an email request to your friends to ask them to play the game and then add them as a neighbor.
4. SMS (Short Message Service)
   Send your friends a text message to invite them to become one of your neighbors.

You can find more neighbors on the Family Farm Seaside fan page and the forum. In the current version of the game, the maximum number of neighbors is 300.

Remove a neighbor

Open your list of neighbors and see which neighbor(s) you want to delete. Tap and hold the picture until you see a red X appear on the top right of the player’s picture. Tap on the X to remove the neighbor from your game.

Visit a neighbor

To visit a neighbor, please follow the steps below.

1) Tap the Menu button at the bottom right of your screen.

2) Tap the neighbor icon in the menu panel and your neighbors list will be displayed.

3) Tap on a player’s picture to visit their farm

If you have connected to Facebook, you can tap the hand shake icon displayed in the bottom right of the game to see all your neighbors.

What can I do when I visit my neighbors?

Note the 5 hearts in the bottom right corner when visiting a neighbor. These hearts represent the number of actions you can perform on your neighbor’s farm. The types of actions you can perform are listed below.

Fertilize crops or water Trees
When you visit a neighbor’s farm, you can fertilize their crops or water their trees to help them grow and get a reward of 1 XP and 5 coins for each plot or tree you help with.

Harvest crops
On your neighbor’s farms you can also harvest their ripe crops. Don’t worry, harvesting those crops will not make them disappear for your neighbors. Even though you harvest them, they will still be there in your neighbor’s game. When you harvest crops, you will have a small chance of obtaining that crop for yourself.

Clean decorations
You can also clean decorations on your neighbor’s farm. Look for decoration items with a brush icon floating on top of it. An example is shown in the picture below. These can be cleaned and you will receive a small reward for this! In addition, your neighbour will also be able to collect a special reward after a decoration item has been cleaned.

Can’t fertilize or clean

If you can’t help a neighbor, don’t worry. You will receive 5 XP and 10 coins just for visiting a neighbor! Tap on the collect reward option at the bottom of the screen when visiting a neighbor’s farm to collect this reward.
