In Hay Day, expansion permits are used to unlock additional land plots in the game. These permits are required for expanding certain areas on your farm that are marked with a scroll icon. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use them:

1. Check for Available Land Plots:
   • Open your farm and look around the edges of your existing land.
   • Look for plots that have a scroll icon on them. These plots require expansion permits.
2. Verify Requirements:
   • Tap on the plot you want to unlock. It will show you the requirements, which usually include:
     • A certain number of expansion permits.
     • A specific amount of coins.
     • Other materials like land deeds, mallets, or stakes.
3. Collect Expansion Permits:
   • You can obtain expansion permits from:
     • Derby rewards (by competing in neighborhood derbies).
     • Valley rewards (as seasonal prizes).
     • Event rewards (during special game events).
     • The Farm Pass (if purchased or unlocked).
     • Occasionally from mystery boxes or wheel of fortune.
4. Expand the Land:
   • Once you have all the required items, tap on the land plot.
