Guide to Call of Dragons Alliances: Ranks, Member Points, and Benefits

Creating or joining an Alliance in Call of Dragons can greatly enhance your gameplay experience. Being part of an Alliance can help you coordinate with other players, share resources, and take part in Alliance activities such as capturing Behemoths and battling other Alliances.

To create an Alliance, go to the Alliance tab on the main menu and click on “Create Alliance.” You will need to choose a name and a tag for your Alliance, as well as set the Alliance emblem. Once your Alliance is created, you can invite other players to join by sharing the Alliance code or searching for players by name.

If you want to join an existing Alliance, you can either search for Alliances by name or browse the Alliance list. Once you find an Alliance you are interested in, you can request to join. The Alliance leader or officers will then review your request and either accept or reject it.

Being part of an Alliance can earn you Member Points, which can be used to increase your Alliance rank and unlock Alliance benefits such as increased resource production and research bonuses. You can earn Member Points by donating resources to the Alliance or participating in Alliance activities such as capturing Behemoths and battling other Alliances.

Alliances can also control territory on the map, which provides bonuses to Alliance members such as increased resource production and decreased building construction time. To capture territory, an Alliance must defeat the defending troops and maintain control of the territory for a certain amount of time.

Alliances can also research Alliance Tech, which provides bonuses to Alliance members such as increased troop attack and defense. To research Alliance Tech, Alliance members must donate resources to the Alliance and use Alliance Credits.

Alliances have different ranks, such as leader, officer, and member, which come with different permissions and responsibilities. The Alliance leader has the highest rank and can manage Alliance settings and promote or demote other members. Officers have some of the same permissions as the leader, while members have limited permissions.

Alliance Ranks and Permissions in Call of Dragons

In Call of Dragons, an Alliance can have up to 40 members, and each member can be assigned a specific rank by their Alliance R4 and R5 leaders. There are five ranks in total, each with different permissions and responsibilities:

R5 Rank (Alliance Leader)

The R5 rank is the top rank in an Alliance, held by the Alliance leader. The R5 leader is responsible for ensuring that all Alliance members are working towards the common goal, setting up events and wars, and motivating everyone to work together. They have the final say on all Alliance decisions, including promoting, demoting, inviting, or removing members, and restocking the Alliance Store. The R5 leader has all the permissions that come with an Alliance, including Union Management, Edit Alliance Info, Appoint Officers, Remove Alliance Buildings, and Disband an Alliance.

R4 Rank

The R4 members are the right-hand people of the Alliance leader. They assist in managing and promoting the Alliance, and provide support to other members. R4 players can help with tasks such as assisting new members, setting up events and wars, inviting new members, researching alliance techs, summoning Behemoths, and building or upgrading Alliance Buildings.

R3 and R2 Ranks

In Call of Dragons, there is no official difference in terms of permissions between the R3 and R2 ranks. Both ranks have the same permissions as R1, plus the ability to send Alliance Mail. It would be beneficial if Farlight Games would add more permissions for at least the R3 rank, such as the ability to see other members’ online statuses and invite other players.

R1 Rank

This rank is automatically granted to members upon joining an Alliance, and it is the most limited in terms of Alliance permissions. Members of this rank can assist other members and use the Alliance chat.

How to join an Alliance?

To join an Alliance in Call of Dragons, you need to upgrade your City to level 4. Once you do that, a Shield icon will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap the Shield icon and select the Join option to see a list of available Alliances. Keep in mind that some Alliances may require a specific level of power or an application before accepting new members.

Before joining an Alliance, there are three important things to consider: Alliance Power, Members, and Language. Alliance Power refers to the strength of the Alliance, which can be measured by their power level and activity. Joining a strong Alliance can increase your chances of earning rewards and items, as well as contribute to the Alliance’s overall strength against rival Alliances.
The number of Members in an Alliance is also crucial to consider. You don’t want to join an Alliance that is too small and unable to compete against other Alliances. On the other hand, applying to an Alliance with only one or two spots available may be challenging to be accepted.

Lastly, the language of the Alliance is important. You should choose an Alliance that speaks your language or has the option for “All languages”. This way, you can communicate effectively with other members. By considering these factors, you can find the right Alliance to join and enjoy the benefits of being part of a strong and active community.

Alliance Territory

Alliance Territory in Call of Dragons is an essential aspect of the game that allows members to benefit from the collective effort of the entire Alliance. As the Alliance’s territory expands, members receive more rewards, such as daily bonuses and a 25% increase in gathering speed, which helps them obtain more resources.

One significant advantage of Alliance Territory is that members can gather resources from the Resource Points within the territory without worrying about having their legions attacked by other players. The Alliance Territory is defined by the construction of Alliance Fortresses, including Core Fortresses and Regular Fortresses.

Core Fortresses are the foundation on which all other Alliance Buildings are built, and the starting point for the Alliance’s Territory. Regular Fortresses have similar functions to the Core Fortress, but they have more challenging requirements before they can be constructed.

Alliance Keeps can be used to defend the Alliance’s territory and to pin down advancing enemy legions. To unlock them, the Defensive Structures tech from the Territory Tech tree must be researched, along with other techs like The High Ground and Bunker Mentality, to increase their damage dealt and defense.

Alliance Towers can be used to expand the territory and make the Alliance more powerful. They must be built on the border of existing Alliance territory, and only by R5 and R4 ranked members. The total number of Alliance members also gets increased by 1 after every 10 built towers. The towers can also be upgraded to Alliance Siege Towers, which can attack other players’ Cities within a certain radius. However, they must be built within 2 days, or the construction process will be canceled and re-attempted with a new set of resources.

Alliance Resource Centers offer a great way to gather resources as they offer a 25% gathering speed increase. They can only be built within an alliance territory, and members can participate in the construction process. The biggest advantage is that the alliances cannot be attacked by other players while gathering from them. Each member can only send one legion for gathering from a Resource Center. Once an Alliance Resource Center is exhausted, it will refill its resources once every 3 days. They can be unlocked by researching the corresponding Alliance Territory Tech and can increase their resource reserves by leveling them up.
