An alliance’s development is simply the total individual development score of all of its members added together. This number is intended as a rough guide to indicate the power of any alliance. To increase your alliances’ development, increase your members’ development, either by working on your Space Stations and upgrading, or continuing to recruit new and stronger members.
Alliance credits you have earned will not be lost if you change to a new alliance. After joining the new alliance, you will have the same amount of alliance credits you had left over in your previous alliance
After your alliance leader is offline for over 7 days, the next time a rank 3 member comes online, they will be automatically promoted to leader.
If the alliance leader is offline over 9 days and no rank 3 member has come online, the next rank 2 member to come online will be automatically promoted to leader.
If the alliance leader is offline over 13 days and no rank 2/3 members are online, any member that comes online will be promoted to leader.
Your second alliance outpost will be unlocked when your alliance reaches alliance level 4.
For each player, the first 50,000 alliance credits each day are earned at the full 100% rate. From 50,001 to 200,000 alliance credits are earned at 15% of the normal rate. After 200,001 they are earned at 1% of the normal rate. Bear in mind that these reductions reset automatically each day for every player.
An alliance’s territory background color is defined by the alliance flag colors. In future we plan to allow players to change their alliance flag colors after alliance creation.
Alliance Credits can be used to purchase items or ready built ships in the Alliance Workshop. You can earn them by participating in alliance wars, probing new systems, donations and in future events!
As an alliance leader, disbanding an alliance will close it forever and automatically kick all of the remaining members. Disbanding an alliance will cause all associated data, resources, points, etc. to be lost forever. There is no way to recover any of this so please be sure before you decide to disband your alliance.
You can leave your alliance by going to the Alliance menu then the Options tab and pressing the Leave Alliance button.
Alliance leaders must first pass the leadership to another member before they are allowed to leave. They can also disband the alliance to destroy it entirely.
You cannot join two alliances at the same time. You must leave your alliance before joining another. After leaving an alliance you must wait 24 hours before you can rejoin the same alliance.
In this game there is no need to rally. Instead just organize your alliance comrades to attack at the same time. Our battle system will automatically involve all ships in the same area when a battle begins.
Alliance leaders and rank 3 members can also create “Custom Legions” in the Alliance – Legion screen. These are like small battlegroups that other alliance members can join and they will provide you a private chat and place to share coordinates. Custom Legions can be useful to help coordinate your operations!
Select an alliance building on the system map and choose Defend. After sending your fleet, you can choose to recall them from defense duties at any time.
Alliances can create special buildings to protect and expand their territory. An alliance first needs to own sufficient donated resources, then select an unoccupied system to build their HQ inside. As time passes, alliance territory will gradually expand outwards from the HQ location.
Outposts can be built in other systems to more quickly expand alliance territory. Alliances can also build special defense systems in their territory that will attack enemies during alliance wars.
The number of alliance buildings that can be constructed depends on the level of your alliance.
You can send fleets to positions near friendly alliance comrade Space Stations to reinforce them. If their Space Station is then attacked, your fleets will automatically join the battle.
Alliance members can only edit ranks of players at lower ranks than themselves. Due to this, there is no way to change your own rank, and also no way to promote someone to the same level you are.
The level of an alliance is raised by the actions of its members. When members destroy pirates, scan planets or upgrade buildings, they accumulate alliance experience, which will increase the alliance level when reaching certain thresholds. Moreover, helping your comrades with construction or battle will help to increase alliance experience too.
Alliance members rank 3 and above can declare war on other alliances. For you to be able to declare war on an alliance, they need to control territory of their own. If your alliance also controls territory, you can declare war freely.
If your alliance does not control territory, you’ll have to spend GEC to force declare on the enemy. The amount of GEC required depends on the alliance level of the target alliance.
To declare a war, view the target alliance’s information page and select “Declare War”. To find this page for alliances with territory, view one of their controlled systems on the system map and click in the lower left corner on the icon with their flag. Their information page will open.
After declaring, there is a 12-hour preparation phase. Upon declaration neither side will be allowed to move fleets to inside the enemy’s territory.
After preparation, the war will start for a period of 24 hours, or until one side earns a complete victory. During this time, alliance defenses are active and alliance buildings can be attacked.
After the war ends, there is a treaty period of 3 days during which the declaring side cannot declare war on the defending side again. However, the defending side in the previous war can freely declare war on the declarer as soon as the war ends.
Alliance members of rank 3 and above can form legions, and other members can join them. Check the Legions tab inside the Alliance menu. Legions provide special temporary bonuses and boosts to the players inside.
When building, upgrading or doing research, you can request assistance from your alliance to reduce the time required. Every alliance member can offer and request help from other alliance members. The time reduced from each alliance member pressing the help button either is 0.5% of the total time or 15 seconds, whichever is larger.
To create an alliance, go to the Alliance menu. If you are a member of an alliance already you will need to leave that alliance first.
Anyone can create a new alliance. Whoever creates an alliance will automatically be set as the leader of the alliance, though this can be changed later.
