In Farmscapes, you beat levels while you restore a farm. Levels are an essential part of the game—beating them gives you the horseshoes you need to restore the farm and advance through the storyline. You also earn coins for beating levels. They can be used to purchase boosters (Bombs, Rockets, Propellers) and additional moves. Boosters can help you beat harder levels.
To beat levels, you need to complete level goals. Match two or more pieces of the same color to achieve the goals.
Use the horseshoes you earn from beating levels to complete tasks on the farm. Each level you beat earns you 3 horseshoes.
There are always events and competitions going on in the game. You can access them after you’ve beat a certain number of levels.

Why do I need to beat levels?
Levels are an essential part of the game—beating them gives you the horseshoes you need to restore the farm and advance through the storyline.
You also earn coins for beating levels. They can be used to purchase game boosters.
How do I play levels?
– At the beginning of each level, you are given one or more goals to complete.
– Match two or more pieces of the same color to complete those goals and progress through the levels.
– There are various obstacles that make completing goals more challenging.
– You usually have a limited number of moves for each level, so use them wisely.
IMPORTANT NOTE! The more moves you have left at the end of each level, the bigger your reward!
Why do I need horseshoes, and how do I get them?
Horseshoes are a special in-game resource you need to complete farm restoration tasks. You can only earn them by beating levels. Each level you beat earns you 3 horseshoes.
How do I unlock new areas on the farm?
The farm is divided into areas that are unlocked one after another. It takes 3–6 game days to restore each area, which you do by completing all the tasks in them.
Each task requires 1–12 horseshoes that you earn by beating levels.
Keep track of your progress and current tasks using the in-game to-do list in the bottom left corner of the screen.
How do I decorate the farm to my taste?
You can change the way most of the elements on the farm look after they’ve been built or renovated.
Tap and hold an object (a bench, street light, flower decoration, etc.) to see the available designs and pick the one you like.
NOTE: you can change the appearance of objects, but you can’t change their location!
How do I change my name, my farm name, or my pet’s name in the game?
You can change your name, your farm name, or the name of your pets whenever you want:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Change Name.
3. In the window that appears, tap Your Name to change your name. To change your farm name, tap Farm Name. To change your pets’ names, tap Pet Name.
4. Type in a new name and tap OK.
What are coins and how do I get them?
Coins are an in-game currency. They’re used for several things:
– buying boosters;
– buying additional moves while playing levels;
– refilling lives.
You can receive coins:
– for beating levels;
– for completing game days;
– for restoring areas on the farm;
– from the in-game characters as a token of their gratitude for your help, or for other achievements;
– for updating the game;
– through in-game purchases available for real money.
What are power-ups? What kinds are there?
Power-ups appear on the field when you match five or more pieces. These are the power-ups currently available in the game:
1. Rockets: they clear all the pieces in a row or column (depending on which direction they’re pointed in). You get them by matching five pieces of the same color.
2. Bombs: they remove everything within a three-cell radius. You get them by matching seven pieces of the same color.
3. Propellers: they remove all pieces of the same color from the field. You get them by matching nine or more pieces of the same color.
What power-up combos exist in the game?
Combining power-ups helps you clear more pieces and produce bigger explosions. Here are the combinations currently available in the game:
Bomb+Bomb—this combo doubles the radius of the bomb effect.
Rocket+Bomb—removes three rows and columns of pieces.
Rocket+Rocket—removes one row and one column of pieces regardless of which way the Rockets are pointed.
Propeller+Bomb or Rocket—the Propeller turns all pieces of the same color into Bombs or Rockets. For example, yellow Propeller+Bomb turns all yellow pieces into Bombs.
Propeller+Propeller—removes all pieces from the field, clearing one obstacle layer in the process.
What’s a booster? What are they for?
Boosters are power-ups that help you beat tough levels. You can:
– buy boosters when you’re playing a level (limited to the Shovel, Lawnmower, Rake, and Basket) or before the start;
– get them as bonuses at the end of game days;
– purchase them at the in-game Bank;
– get them as a reward for participating in events and competitions.
What kinds of boosters are there in the game?
The following boosters are currently available in the game:
Shovel: this booster clears one cell without using a move. This booster is only available once you start playing a level.
Lawnmower: removes all the pieces in an entire row without using a move. This booster is only available once you start playing a level.
Rake: removes all pieces in an entire column without using a move. This booster is only available once you start playing a level.
Basket: removes all pieces of one color without using a move. This booster is only available once you start playing a level.
What rewards are available in the game?
There are a number of ways you can get coins, boosters, power-ups, and additional/unlimited lives, either separately or packaged as rewards.
1. You receive coins:
– for beating levels;
– for restoring areas on the farm;
– from the game characters as a token of their gratitude when you help them;
– for updating the game
2. You receive boosters:

– for restoring areas on the farm.
3. You receive additional lives:

4. You receive a whole set of rewards (coins, boosters, and/or unlimited lives):
– for completing game days (once you finish all the tasks from your to-do list for a certain game day).
– for completing tasks during events (see [What are events? How do I take part in them?])
The Gold Reserve special offer
Special offers give you the chance to buy coins.
In addition to standard rewards, you’ll get bonus coins for each level you beat while the special offer is on. These coins will be kept in a special wallet, and you’ll have the chance to buy them at a great price as soon as you collect the number listed in the offer terms. Bonus coins don’t affect regular rewards for beating levels: you earn as many coins as usual with or without the wallet.
You can buy the coins as soon as you collect the required number, or you can continue saving to buy them later, in which case the deal will be even better. The number of bonus coins you get depends on the number of regular coins you receive for beating levels. The more regular coins you win, the more bonus coins you get.
You can’t disable the wallet, but you can simply ignore it. You won’t lose anything if you don’t use it!
How do I open the Gold Reserve?
When the Gold Reserve offer is on, in addition to regular coins, you get bonus coins for each level you beat. Those coins are stored in a special wallet. Once the number of coins in the wallet reaches the number indicated in the offer, you’ll have the chance to buy them at a great price.
How do I make in-game purchases?
1. Open the game and tap the coin icon in the top left corner of the screen.
2. Choose the number of coins you want to purchase.
3. Select the appropriate payment method.
4. Enter the information required to process your payment.
5. Confirm the purchase.
Once you complete these steps, the coins are added to your game account. If they aren’t, please follow the steps described in the My purchase didn’t show up in the game article.
